Hello @aiken Thank you for A2A… I want to know more about freelancing.. What is the best way to start a freelance career as a story writer?
- November 8, 2017 at 7:32 pm #3073
I would suggest starting out as a freelancer on Odesk or Elance. If you do not have a portfolio or any relevant experience, you may want to try Fiverr.
You will not be paid much, but you will get some experience under your belt. As you establish the value that you have to offer, most people are willing to pay extra for special projects. You may also want to consider blogging.
It is a great way to showcase your writing skills and get organic publicity. You can also offer to write guest posts for other popular blogs like Huffington Post and Business Insider. Kimanzi Constable has been very successful at building a business and a career by writing guest posts for major blogs.
On his website, he offers detailed instructions on submitting guest posts. If you have a special niche (i.e. articles, narratives, blogs), identify your target audience.
Find out where your audience hangs (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Meetup, etc) out and begin spending time with them. Find out what problem they would pay someone to solve. Craft your freelancing business to meet this need.

If you’re new to freelance writing, I think you should first build your portfolio through guest posting on other blogs. That way, you’ll have relevant samples of your work to link to when applying for freelance writing jobs.

Certain professions has their own limitations. You are not any kind of underrated Bollywood actor, that you can join in any reality show as a judge.Or buy a team in IPL or ISL. So all you have to do is just performing dental treatment.
But if you are so determined to earn extra money;join any running dental clinic as an educated assistant.

Freelancer.com has a section devoted to slogan-writing projects, which are sometimes run as contests. For example, at the moment, a personal-injury law firm is offering $150 for the best “unique and memorable tagline/slogan

The average salary in South Africa is R8168 (about $519), and the median is R3193 (about $203) (own calculations, 2014 data adjusted to 2015 prices). This means that half of South African earn R3193 or less, and the wage of high earners is pulling the average up to more than half the median. This is because South Africa is one of the most unequal societies in the world.
This is coupled with really high unemployment – 25% in 2015. This means that people who are at high risk of employment will accept wages much lower than people with good employment prospects. People with a tertiary degree fare much better in the labour market, with much higher chance of employment and higher salaries.
Therefore people who have low educational outcomes, low skills, live in rural areas etc. would probably R10 000 is an excellent wage as the majority of people around them could never expect to earn that much.
However, university graduates would not be thrilled with that wage. From personal experience (I am a recent graduate with one years experience, and all of my friends are recent graduates, too), anything from R15 000 to R20 000 is an acceptable/good starting salary. For people with high-earning degrees (Chartered Accountants, Masters degrees etc.) R20 000 – R30 000 is good. Higher starting wages are possible in Cape Town but not probable.
As to salaries for people with more experience, I’m not qualified to say without doing more research. Anything R40 000 plus is definitely putting you into a high-earner category.
NOTE that the statistics I’ve given are for South Africa as a whole, and wages in Cape Town are probably high on average.

I believe you should choose any variant that suits you but that is not risky because it does not worth it at all
- December 5, 2018 at 3:18 pm #9669
As a variant sports betting can be a kinda of extra money income. Still I do not consider betting being profitable at all because you need special knowledge about sports betting, all those tables and info players etc. But when you can win something without special knowledge it is the best variant. For instance at Drakemall website you can get a modern gadget from a mystery box for free. I am planning to win some Christmas presents:)

I am a paid tipster services verificator (i.e. I proof their records integrity) and can tell you 95 % of the services will bring you only losses in the long run. That’s not necessarily because they cheat but due to odds inavailability in most cases. Still there are a few which have brought a decent profit to me personally but it’s not a simple following advised bets process, you have to be at least a bit advanced into gambling techniques in order to make a profit. It’s a normal learning curve like in any other area though and one dedicated person can achieve substantially better results than traditional investing forms like FX, stocks, etc.

Well, sports betting cab=n be a good variant for you. If it’s just advice you want there are a ton. Nut you’re never really going to know what suits you until you try following them and checking for yourself and as per your results. Statistics and advice otherwise is easy to come by. The same logic applies for betting systems and anything really related to sports betting because the important thing is it working for you.
For example, I use this one https://777score.ph/. Partially because they give me what they believe are the best picks from analysts around. No fluff or anything. And I use it for American sports betting because I don’t have to actually have any knowledge about it. It’s more like a do as you’re told system. That works for me. Personally I prefer a no questions asked system than something I can learn how to do on my own because I don’t have time for it. So advice is less important to me than winning picks.

Yes. You can make good money on your blog, but I know a much better way. The Internet is a good platform for realizing your own potential. Now I make good money on this site. I’m betting on sports. Sports betting is not gambling. I study sports forecasts from professional experts and draw conclusions. Am I interested in your opinion on this?

Hi, I will keep it simple. Probably the most popular ways are either Value betting or Arbitrage betting on sportsbook. I recommend you to go and check out this website: https://sportingbetstrategy.com/ , where you can find a quite good explanation for these betting strategies. They even have a couple of videos there.
I personally am doing arbitrage betting with literary zero risk involved for around 2 years already. And I’ve managed to make enough money to pay for all my bills, as well as to save up some money. And what makes it even better – I chose when I feel like “working”, so my life is quite flexible now.
This arbitrage betting that I am doing involves no risk at all. You place bets on both participating teams or players, therefore the outcome of the game is not relevant. What is relevant is how the bets are placed.
Different bookies have different odds on every game, sometimes in close games the odds of the team winning are close and the team that is being favored by bookies may differ. One bookmaker can favor Team A, while other may favor Team B.
Let’s say that the bookie has odds of 2.13 for Team A to win and different bookie has odds of 2.20 for Team B to win. For this example, let’s assume that the sport is Basketball or other sport that cannot end with a tie result. If we place 200$bet on each of the teams to win it gives us a minimum profit of 26$or maximum profit of 40$depending on which team turns out to be victorious.
Here are calculations of this situation:
Team A wins: 200$ (bet amount) * 2.13 (odds) = 426$ total win
Profit: 426$– 400$ (total bet on both teams) = 26$ profit
Team B wins: 200$ (bet amount) * 2.20 (odds) = 440$ total win
Profit: 440$– 400$ (total bet on both teams) = 40$ profit
Either way you have gained at least a 6.5% profit of your investment.
I found all of this and other strategies here: https://sportingbetstrategy.com/

Along the same lines as starting your own blog, if you haven’t gathered by now, writing quality content for viewers is worth a lot of money. To the tune of several hundred dollars for a 3-4 page article.
If you’re still reading this article, odds are someone would have paid you over $100 for something of similar (or hopefully better) quality.
The better you are at writing, the more your content is worth. Even part time freelance work can add thousands to your monthly income. Holly Johnson from Club Thrifty makes over $200,000 a year from freelance writing! And she has a course that teaches others how to do the same.
If writing isn’t your thing, do what Caitlin Pyle did:
In 2014, Caitlin made over $43,000 by working as a freelance proofreadproofer…part time. If you’ve got a knack for spotting typos or naughty grammar, this side hustle might be right up your alley.
When she wasn’t working, she even had time to go on several fun vacations. After she had a ton of success doing that, she decided she wanted to teach others how to do the same thing, so she started up Proofread Anywhere.
Sign up for one of her free workshops to learn more about how to make money from home as a proofreader.

I know another good way to make good money. I agree with the previous comments. Online casinos are cool. This is where I made my first money online slots that pay money. Now I want to buy a house and fulfill my dream. It’s important. Remote work gives great opportunities. I can travel and make good money, so I’m both hands on for remote work. What do you say to that?
