Is life really possible on these new Earths?

Kepler, NASA’s space observatory telescope intended to discover Earth-sized planets orbiting other stars, has discovered 219 exoplanets including 10 Earth-like planets. The latest discovery will get a feature in the catalogue of exoplanets, which are so far discovered by Kepler. Out of the 10 newly discovered Earth-like planets, the one which is the closest to being Earth is called as KOI 7711.01, which is just 30% larger than the Earth.

Kepler, which was launched back in 2009 and had settled into orbit around the sun, has spent four years staring at 200,000 stars, having the mission to find Earth-like planets.
